How Can I Create One Shape With My Gps Coordinates?

hey hey guys.. help me pls

I have some coordinates in my gps.

I need to create one shape with this coordinates to use this shape in kosmo or gvsig.

which are the proograms that I need to do it..

In which format is you GPS data, MS Excel? You can just load the table in ArcGIS than right click on the table and choose create x,y data ... something like that.

That is the problem, the format is very strange. the format file is .UPT . here is the trace:

$PMGNWPL,0057.872,S,07835.183,W,0002803,M,AJAPON,,a*45

$PMGNCMD,END*3D


with .UPT format I can't load with arcgis, kosmo or gvsig.

any software to convert this file from .UPT to .CSV or .XLS

Those are NMEA sentences. That is a GPS feed not a file format (more or less).
