Welcome to this new version of MyGIS - Malaysia Geographic Information Systems. For the past two months we have been overwhelmed with new memberships which have started getting more international.
As for now, MyGIS is not only a forum center for Malaysia, but with immediate effect extending to Asia and other parts of the world.

I am happy to know there is a GIS day. This can really bring the GIS   awareness and its importance.

Hi David,

Welcome to MyGIS website. GIS day has been celebrated here in Malaysia for as long as I can remember ESRI promoting that. You are right, this helps bring the GIS awarness to people. Even though they are using GIS in their day to day life without knowing it  Cheesy
