My question was: What is a foolproof way to take a layout and place it in a MSWord document so that it will print? Thanks to Kathi Hannaford, Tom Konzel, Tim Glover, Jerome Parkin, Jeremy Black, Lisa Montiel, Robert White, Laurie Gill, Garlynn Woodsong, Joe Lewis, Lon Sharp, Jeff Garrett, Dianne Haley, and Kenneth Sawyer for their responses. It is amazing how many different ways folks have to accomplish this. I ended up exporting the layout as a windows metafile (.wmf), with 144dpi option, and then Insert>Picture>from File into MSWord. Some said using a placeable .wmf file would work too, but maybe not retain the scale. Others export as .jpg and use MS Photo Editor to save as .bmp or .gif and then import into MSWord. Still others prefer to use AltPrintScreen and copy and paste into MSWord. Others suggested creating Adobe Acrobat PDF file. Others said PS should work, even if I can not see the image on the screen. Others urged to dump MSWord for a WordPerfect or some other underdog (I wish I could). Thanks again! Caren
