Thank you Banette Kritzky, Humberto Perotto, Marc Kaplan, Mark Burdick, Robert Pigg and Robert Pollock for providing leads to PLSS data for New Mexico, Arizona and Oklahoma and to other boundary data for Texas. I have complied a list below of the GIS data provider sites that I found useful. http://www.nationalatlas.gov The USGS has complied township and range (sections not included) data for most of the States. One can download it as a shapefile. http://www.blm.gov/gcdb Bureau of Land Management provides township, range and section data for a good portion of the States. Currently, each township is exported as a separate e00 file. New Mexico http://rgis.unm.edu/intro.htm The Resource Geographic Information Program site includes township, range and section data by county or by state (and other datasets). Arizona http://www.land.state.az.us The Arizona Land Resource Information System (ARLIS) provides numerous datasets including township, range and section data. One has to complete an order form to obtain the data; free for public agencies. Oklahoma http://okmaps.onenet.net Oklahoma State GIS Council provides several GIS links. http://www.seic.okstate.edu Spatial and Environmental Information Clearinghouse - Oklahoma State University Seic provides PLSS data for a fee. Texas http://www.tnris.org Texas Natural Resources Information System (TNRIS) site provides numerous datasets exported as zipped e00 files. Becky Cooper Rowekamp Associates, Inc
