Hi all, My original query was how to hide certain columns/fields when trying to add a table to a layout. I needed to go to the layer's properties, select the fields tab, the choose the field and uncheck the checkbox to turn it off. This will hide the field for layouts or just tab le operations. However, when using a DB connection to pull data in such as XY data and using THAT in a layout, I needed to first ADDXY, the RE-ADD the table using the "Add data button" then repeat the above steps on the table. If I tried it on the event theme, I received an error that the OID was not present. Seems like Arcmap needs to generate its own ID to be able to put it on a layout. Obviously on DB tables this isn't possible, so you have to use the table directly.
