Original Question: How do I stop the "Expired Extensions" message box that
appears each time I start ArcView 8.1?

To get rid of the expired extensions message box you get when you start
ArcMap or ArcCatalog, delete the following files.
Delete only the ones that appear in the message box.

C:\Program Files\ESRI\License\SingleUser\ArcPressFX.lic
                                          \GeoStatsFX.lic
                                          \GridFX.lic
                                          \TINFX.lic
